    US and guns

    At times I despair.

This article presumably was written by a citizen of the USA in that country, and printed in a US based magazine.

In the 10 years since Sandy Hook, "good guys with guns" have been present or nearby at nearly every major mass shooting.

One well-made point in that article I hadn't previously considered is that some of the shooters, the one in Buffalo being mentioned, come wearing protective underwear. Isn't Trump said to have declared to the NRA that in order to protect themselves people should get thicker entrance doors? That's going to prevent rescuers breaking into a domestic hostage situation as well!

Just a sideline theory of mine, but I have the impression that living in an overwhelmingly Christian country, viz. The States, appears to confer the assumed right [sic] to believe that the believer is never wrong.

I thought underwear was for Russians, not Americans.
