I voted Tory in our local elections since I contacted my councillor re an issue that involved the bus route to the hospital where I worked being changed. I contacted him at 20.00 and was amazed to receive a reply 12 hours later. When I went to vote, I met the councillor who remembered my name and the issue I had raised. In fact, he put pressure on the bus company to re-instate the timetable which they duly did. So yes, I did vote Tory although I did comment to him as I left that I’d voted for the man and the party.
