Wonderful - but what a pity his music is so banal: it stirs the emotions and for its duration you may think it the most glorious thing, but goes no deeper. It fascinates me that something so accessible as great music - and I don't just mean music in the European classical tradition: let's include Indian ragas to the kora music of Mali et al - is trumped (sic and lol) by the 3 minute Western pop song and its derivatives (the essence surely of throwaway capitalism: you buy it, you love it, you chuck it in the sea.)
