    Likewise. Some of the food has come from exaggeratedly large freezer stocks. Nothing spent on tickets, outings, trips to London, pub/restaurant etc. I did buy the catalogues for two exhibitions we could not now go to: Ashmolean, Young Rembrandt - Tate, Aubrey Beardsley. Both books are excellent and we would probably not have bought them normally.

    A side-effect - I'm a bit slimmer. I fitted much more comfortably into a particular 34" waist pair of trousers which had got a bit tight.

      Definitely spending less. Zero petrol costs, less frequent trips to the food shops (and my girlfriend is superb at planning meals!) and two cancelled shell shows.
