... don't bother - they will already know. Those microbots in the vaccines report back to Thames House, 12 Millbank, SW1P 4QE (and also to 85 Albert Embankment SE1 7TP) at ten-minute intervals

Shush, you were supposed to keep that under your hat. That's the reason so many feel fatigued after vaccination. The bots tap into the mitochondrial power source to broadcast their data and that saps the victims' energy. It's true, I tell you. I saw it on the hinterweb.

In the trial documentation they stated...

As an interim measure, we will provide all participants with an official letter addressed to “to whom
it may concern” stating their involvement in the trial, the premise of the trial and the dates
          of their vaccines.

Still waiting. Wonder how many went ahead and booked cruises on the assumption that this letter would be forthcoming and needed to go on a cruise ?

They either didn't think this through - incompetence - or did and decided to sweep it under the carpet - duplicity.

Feeling pretty aggrieved TBH at that rubbish they just sent out and the website at the end of the link and 9/10 of the way of telling them where to stick their trial and going andgetting my second official jab.

Just making sure! As I see it, the more information the authorities have about my health and the lady wife's, the sooner they can lead us, and everybody else, out of the dark Covid tunnel and into the blazing sunshine of the Promised Land. It's the least that we can do as responsible citizens.

Well some of that burden will shortly be taken off your shoulders

I looked at NHS Digital (never had occasion to visit before - not impressed) to look for more information and try to find out about the opt-out arrangements, given that the deadline is 23rd June, but without success. Fortunately this second article contains a link https://www.theguardian.com/society/...to-nhs-digital
How many people have heard from their GP about this I wonder? And who thought it was a good idea to foist this work on them at short notice and in the current climate - actually don't bother answering that it's self-evident.

When you get to my age, you're no longer worried about who knows what about you. Il me faut cultiver mon jardin, as somebody once said. in order that I can then sit in it and read/drink/do a bit of birdwatching/tackle the Times crossword, plan my next staycation.....

Exactly! Anyone looking at my life would become very bored very quickly! As for money, well anyone who can find any in my account is going to be sorely disappointed.

In some respects I tend to take that view but when it comes to the government selling my data without having the decency to even notify me then I am less inclined to say " whatever" and more inclined to protest and prevent. They tried to do this some years ago and weren't sufficiently successful on that occasion I think, hence this repeated attempt I assume. By following various twists and turns on the NHS Digital site it is possible to access a price list...
A business doing this would face punitive financial consequences, but the government can hide behind "national interest".

                        .... I don't think so.

I don't have a smartphone, so used the alternative offered (ring 119 and ask for the letter).
My wife does have a smartphone, and her information is on her NHS app, and no letter expected.

As I have mentioned a number of times , ( I know ) the whole business of data mining , digital ID etc bothers me greatly. But it bothers me much more in regard to the world that we are handing to our young people than it does to my own situation.

Those with any concerns in this area ought to have a skim of this, as it suggests a direction of travel that many will not be comfortable about.

I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

I am not a number, I am a free man.

No. If you're on a Covid vaccine trial then you are stuffed. I had a long private talk with one of the trial GPs yesterday evening and he/she admitted that the oversight committee for the trial had thought about the impact of trials on vaccine letters and the disadvantages placed as a result on triallists but dismissed concerns as 'It's never going to happen'.

Having fallen foul of the ill-conceived vaccine trial and lack of any vaccination confirmation letter - becoming increasingly necessary for travel abroad - I have now come round to your view and agree 100%.
