    Keep up the great work.

There was an interesting graph in the Spectator ( used in the Manchester Evening News I think) showing the 7 day rolling average falling in most of the Manchester boroughs, but other charts seem to suggest they are falling in only 3 boroughs.

Mike Leigh has possibly already put in a bid for the film rights and asked somebody to 'update' Malcolm Arnold's overture. Do you think the police will use drones to improve the Fusiliers' aim?

In solidarity with the low paid of Greater Manchester, the local Tory MPs who have written a letter of complaint to Andy Burnham have volunteered to be paid 2/3rds of the minimum wage rather than their parliamentary salary while the area remains in tier 3.

No doubt Sir Graham Brady in his influential 1922 position will encourage all back bench Tory MPs to follow suit!

As a test I've added a second page to the interactive PowerBi map. It shows the number of deaths in seven days by County/Unitary Authority.

This is only a test and I'm not yet sure whether the additional page will become permanent.

(The PHE data for deaths by published date at Upper Tier Local Authority level, i.e. Counties and Unitary Authorities, and is only available for England and Scotland at present.)

Thank you for that, johnb. Sobering, even just to look at some of the figures in other places.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Looks like the government are running out of ministers. Someone called Robert Generic has been interviewed on the radio recently

Very helpful. The map showing the deaths data does look helpful, for those who want to avoid adding to the numbers.

With over 1000 cases reported in the University of Bristol in the last couple of weeks that is not surprising.

The "heat maps" presented a day or two ago by Professor Van-Tam also show that the bulk of the increase in the South-West Region is in the 16-24 age group.

I try whenever possible not to be out and about after 3 pm, when schools start disgorging their charges onto the streets.
