Same here - I've been shopping only for basic necessities and limiting myself to one (solitary) walk a day well away from places where people might gather. My medication is delivered by Royal Mail from an extremely efficient on-line pharmacy.

It doesn't even take two of us to shop. We can probably shop everything on-line. But our touchstone is compliance, not beyond (your mileage may vary)

N.B. Double post because this forum doesn't allow members to edit their posts.

Ok, it does take one person with internet access, but you know what I meant.

Plus there are the deliveries from restaurants

I've just edited #793, partly to add a detail and partly to prove that postings are indeed editable.

With ghastly timing my gas oven has packed in! Engineer came round and can't fix it so I need a new one asap. Are online deliveries still able to be made? Anyone know?

Yep. And my close family scoffed at me when I suggested we all wouldn't see each other again before Easter...

Any chance of switching to electric? More planet-friendly, we are now told.

I don't know about ovens in particular, but I suspect that online deliveries have generally slowed down. I ordered a DVD from Amazon Prime on the 21st and, instead of arriving on the 22nd, it is due to be delivered on the 26th.

My Amazon Prime delivery of hand sanitiser took 4 weeks.

On the contrary, I have no original ideas, I just take good advice!

                                Such a friendly thread, btw.
