And the guy who could not bring the N.Ireland parties together but kept a place in the Cabinet, and Knight, who DID bring the parties together, sacked.
    Hmm.

I noticed that too. J B rewarded and pledging his loyalty to besieged Patel, while J S, loyal to Theresa May, is sacked. Strange? Maybe - though I also noticed that Trump too is on a disloyalty hunt. 'You're Fired' notices are said to be on their way to various 'losers'.

Which would be bad enough if the system worked efficiently, accurately and equitably, but as the likes of Womad have already found that just isn't the case, even before the new draconian proposals.

I can never understand why PMs think it is always a good idea to only have chums in their cabinets when uniting a party with less malcontents on the back benchers is surely more viable.

I would say there is fairly fierce competition in the tory disingenuous league table!

So reassuring to see Hancock on lunchtime TV news telling anyone returning from N Italy to put themselves in purdah if they're having flu-like symptoms. Our block is full of northern Italians continually on the move between here and there. So good to know the govt is so well prepared. Just keep washing the hands...

If it all gets put of control there will doubtless be much hand-wringing - although use of a mangle might seem tempting where certain individuals are concerned.

This could be easily solved with a fixed term multi-entry visa for artists.

For which, by current practice, the UK would be likely to charge a prohibitively inflated fee.

What are the fees under current practice that are prohibitive, inflated or both?
