Maybe they'll try to overturn this, but what part of burning fossil fuels however obtained is bad, don't they understand?
We all do it, but we should be trying not to.

It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

There's so much to be said. Suffice for now to say that the solutions capable of saving both present and future are there in the different knowledge disciplines scattered over the globe but it will take a big hit on some fondly held beliefs, practices and possessions many view as sacrosanct, and not only those holding them but a whole burgeoning industry of not causing offense.

Is this something the government keeps quite about? A large proportion of our power is still generated from burning coal. As we no longer mine it ourselves, a VAST amount is shipped into the UK via Immingham..which handles 10 million tons of the stuff every year. Question: Is it worse to burn coal we have mined in Britain or to burn coal imported via huge bulk carriers (ships) from halfway across the world?
