Would Lord Adonis who allegedly grew up in a one parent household on a council housing estate only be permitted to take part in an oiks' vote?

Or would he have the special privilege of taking part in a people's vote?

Adonis is a difficult one. Clearly started at a disadvantage, but was quickly scooped up into an expensive boarding school. And the rest is history. In here we hate grammar schools, so I imagine a boarding school is a non-starter!

        Thank you.

It was more on a point of principle.

I only mentioned him because we hear so rarely from dear Lord Mandelson these days.

          Here's a thing.

I wrote a long essay recently to five people.

The content of it is irrelevant.

          Four ignored me.

One replied with the five word sentence "Thank you for your thoughts".

          Lord Owen
          Andrea Leadsom
          Michael Gove
          John Redwood
          David Davis

So which of the five had the courtesy of sending me such a considered acknowledgment?

          It's a genuine question.

Clue - It did appear to have been written by the actual person and it was done very quickly.

              Very appropriate word, that.

Lord Owen. The rest of them would have been "too busy"?

                  Oh dear.

                  Sorry.

                  It was not Lord Owen.

Would you like a second try to get the answer we are looking for?

I happened to meet Lord Owen very briefly last year. He seemed very nice. Must be him.
He wants us to stay in EEA, or something
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

No, I am afraid that is incorrect.

To be fair, we can do another four rounds of this if necessary.

Are you not interested in my one to one with the good Lord?

Edit. What on earth posessed you to write to the others?

I bet it was Gove .

                          I am.

I would be more so if he had sent an acknowledgment but do tell as the nearest I ever got was when I bought his book and he signed it.

                          The answer is John Redwood.

A very chilly civility, route one rapidity, something actually happened.

Although not quite what I had hoped for.

Nothing to tell really. It was backstage at a book event. We got free sarnies , and the former foreign secretary had a scotch egg. He'd had a puncture on the way, luckily very near a Kwikfit.
But he did seem to know the ins and outs of the EEA, EFTA stuff.
I'd vote for him. But then you should see the tossers we have as MPs round here.

                                No.

It was Sir John Redwood but I think I forgot the first bit : perhaps had I remembered there would have been more.
