    I'm saying that the fact that Chechnya has thrown off the yoke of Soviet and Russian rule has nothing to do with its appalling attitude towards LGBTQ people.

      And now one reads that the absurd Sergei Polunin has made fatuous homophobic comments. I suppose people's views have always been formed by silly emotionalism and - certainly in Mr Polunin's case - a need to follow a 'noble' hero figure (Polunin is infatuated with the vile Mr Putin).
