    The Secrets of Bones

Anyone with even the mildest interest in science will (IMHO) be enthralled by this programme. Once over the usual annoying BBC opening sequence of, "I'm so-and-so and I'm going to discover blah-blah-blah", the presenter really gets down to the nitty gritty of how animals' skeletons are adapted for purpose, e.g. flying, swimming, running, etc, etc. This is possibly the best science series to grace the airwaves in recent years. Again, IMVHO.

Thanks for the fillip. I missed this the first time round and would have done so again but for your alert. Two more episodes to come, I note.
