    Well, there must be countless instances of the law being broken without the lawbreaker/s accordingly being taken to task!

    That said, if there wasn't a dress code, there'd have been no "guidelines" up with which any employee could be asked to sign or on which she could have been ordered to toe the line (sorry?)!

      I was just getting a little worried that the discussion might be heading towards somebody on here actually declaring that this particular company had either acted legally or illegally, that's all. One can't be too careful, these days!
