How about a plate of snorkers, as thereinbefore discussed?

It might be some Bristolian thing. When lived there there was this fellow who used to say "Insofar as notwithstanding" whenever we were faced with a difficult question. He would then just stop, smile, and walk away.

8thO lived in Bristol for a while, didn't he?
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

"heretofore". Reminds me, misleadingly, of the phrase "meet yourself coming back".
This incomplete title was also a bit misleading... "Structure and postnatal organization of heretofore"
More to chew over here, including, for 8thO's benefit/annoyance? some more of the technical stuff
I love * these kind of words: Moreover, therefore, heretofore, hereto, however, notwithstanding, furthermore, henceforth, wherefore, nonetheless, nevertheless, although, withal, howbeit, alb...

I like "insofar" and "inasmuch" and use them far too often, also "bethatasitmay".

Nick must have come across many such terms in the legalese he will have been confronted with on a daily basis.

I rather like aforementioned, though I'd probably use previously mentioned in my own writing.

Nice girl, Beth - unusual surname.
Do you run it all together like that though? I separate them.

May? Middle name's a bit strange though.

Looks like those website names where it takes a while to work out what the correct version is - especially if one's eye/brain link has already made a(completely erroneous) pattern out of the letters, which is what happened in this case! I suppose it's because interpretation will look for known patterns first, so "Beth" came before "be that".
