Thanks to a couple of charity shop bargains, I've been listening-in to Rachmaninov and find it to be georgeous and tuneful music. Any Supporters?

I love the concertos, the Vespers, most of the solo Piano Music, The ISle of the DEad and Symphonic Dances. The reputed charms of the 3rd Symphony have always eluded me.

Richard, thanks for your vote! I'll take your recommendations and look out for them (currently have Sym. 2 & the piano concertos).

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

He's a wonderful composer of romantic Russian music, Cheaps and you've had some great recommendations already.
I'd say explore the piano solo repertoire too and don't forget the songs ...

I got the Brilliant Classics 31CD Box not knowing much beyond the widely familiar repertoire and found much to discover. I have derived a lot of pleasure investigating the 3CDs of songs taken from Chandos originals. (Even though it was a pain - and a bit of an adventure - to have to go to the Chandos site to get the texts).
I am a sucker for a mournful cello tune and revelled in the two Trios Élégiaques. The posthumous one movement G minor one is enticingly marked "Lento lugubre".
A lot more I could single out if I took the time
